Charl built several businesses in the corporate IT world and rose to Vice President, Asia Pacific for a global technology organisation before he switched careers to focus on his passion of real estate.

VALERIE mORKEL - project management, finance & admin
Valerie has over 25 years experience in general management, finance & accounting, operations and administration and was most recently the Business Manager for the Brisbane Montessori School in Fig Tree Pocket.
Originally from France, she is an experienced renovator and has a keen eye for design and aesthetic to help suggest cost effective improvements to your property that add value. She is also a laser-focused project manager that will ensure all aspects of the sale come together on time and to budget.

Charl & Valerie have personally bought, sold, rented and renovated 14 properties across three continents and four cities.
They put both buyers and sellers at ease with their diverse experience in many cultures. In addition to Australia, they have lived, worked or done business in New Zealand, South Africa, USA, England, France, Italy, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Austria, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Brunei, Japan, Hong Kong, India, China, and the United Arab Emirates.
They both speak fluent French. Charl also speaks some basic German and a smattering of Japanese and Afrikaans.

Charl & Valerie are strong believers in doing everything to the highest level possible in both their professional and personal lives. Charl is a black belt in karate. He is a 17-time gold medallist in state-level competitions and four-time national bronze medallist.
Charl and Valerie have been together for 23 years and have two delightful daughters. Loving their community, Charl spent seven years on the Board and Valerie many years on the P&F of the Brisbane Montessori School in Fig Tree Pocket and they are active helpers of the Mandalay Progress Association.
